Schools are a literal safety net in Uganda and Haiti. Each classroom represents the fight for the future of each child present as well as providing a job for a teacher.
The economic crisis caused from lock down policies is causing children to fall behind in ways that will take years to repair. Conduit has 6 schools between Uganda and Haiti. Each classroom requires $1,500 a year to maintain. This includes teacher salary, teacher assistant, supplies, and food. For many of the kids, the one guaranteed meal they get every day comes from the school.
You can provide a safety net for 25-30 children for an entire year. Whether you can donate $1,500 now, or $125 a month. Or you can sponsor a portion of a classroom, joining others in unity to provide this desperately needed protection.
